Inspirational Books e-Interview - "The Nurse in the Delivery Room Slapped Me... Once" Name: Marianna 1. What was your favorite part, story, poem or maxim from the book - and why? My favorite maxim from the book is ‘whatever you are going through right now, someone else has been there and can relate’. The book is actually more of a tool for me. I have it on the side of my desk. When I get 5 free minutes, or when I am so overwhelmed that I cannot think, I grab it and read an excerpt.
2. What messages or perspectives from the book most inspired and/or motivated you? “Lucky You” put a smile on my face. I will continue to work hard, work smart, and care about people.
3. Has the book helped to foster any new priorities or behaviors - or perhaps rekindled any dreams or aspirations dormant from days gone by? I am inspired to help those less fortunate than I. I am researching opportunities available to me. Additionally, I am more inspired to treat others the way that I would like to be treated. As we get older, we begin to lose those that we love. “The Garden” has inspired me to find a way to get my aging parents to come to visit me for a month. A feat that I have been trying to accomplish for nearly a year…
4. What is the most important lesson/insight introduced, or re-enforced in the book - which you will strive to more consistently incorporate in your life? Help those less fortunate. Ignore critics. Invite constructive criticism.
5. Are there any personal anecdotes, thoughts or perspectives related to "The Nurse in the Delivery Room Slapped Me... Once", that you would like to share?
6. In your opinion, people in need of what would find the book the most beneficial? Uplifting insightful reading… Life happens while you execute your plan. There are many tools to help us deal with the roadblocks and seemingly difficult situations.

Tessie Tate – She walked to the beat of her own drum – I like that in a person – this was my favorite part of the book – She showed me not to be afraid to take a chance on life, your thoughts and ideas
2. What messages or perspectives from the book most inspired and/or motivated you? To always keep a positive attitude – I try and focus on what I have – not what I do not have.
3. Has the book helped to foster any new priorities or behaviors - or perhaps rekindled any dreams or aspirations dormant from days gone by? I always keep my priorities straight, health, family and good friends – the book just reinforced these for me.
4. What is the most important lesson/insight introduced, or re-enforced in the book - which you will strive to more consistently incorporate in your life? I am trying to believe and have an understanding of my faith – which I did start to lose along the way.
5. Are there any personal anecdotes, thoughts or perspectives related to "The Nurse in the Delivery Room Slapped Me... Once", that you would like to share? Not really – I just found this book to be very uplifting at a time in my life when I started to doubt many things – Talking to D Anthony on the phone and him sending the book to me personally while I was employed with the BrightSight Group was a sign of good things to come – Thank you, D Anthony

Inspirational Books e-Interview - "The Nurse in the Delivery Room Slapped Me... Once" Name: Roland Molineaux 1. What was your favorite part, story, poem or maxim from the book - and why? Having recently lost my father, I connected emotionally to his feelings dealing with his mother's home going. Although you can never really commit to words what is being experienced at that moment, D Anthony expressed clearly what I was dealing with and helped me through this difficult period.
2. What messages or perspectives from the book most inspired and/or motivated you? Reminding us to take the time to enjoy the little thing in everday life and not geting caught up in the daily rat race routine.
3. Has the book helped to foster any new priorities or behaviors - or perhaps rekindled any dreams or aspirations dormant from days gone by? I recently enrolled in an art course and also piano class. These were two of the most important activities to me when I was growing up and lost interest when life happend. But thanks to the book, I have made the concious effort to and succeded in rekindling my passsions for the pure love of it.
4. What is the most important lesson/insight introduced, or re-enforced in the book - which you will strive to more consistently incorporate in your life? Live and enjoy each and every moment of everyday and not to take life so seriously.
5. Are there any personal anecdotes, thoughts or perspectives related to "The Nurse in the Delivery Room Slapped Me... Once", that you would like to share? None comes to mind at this time.
6. In your opinion, people in need of what would find the book the most beneficial? People who have lost their compass and are spinning in place should embace the simple but powerful principles of this book in order to get them on the path of enjoying life again.

Knowing your mother was dying, the way it affected and helped you in life. Your parents gave good rules and regulations for you to live by in life.
2. What messages or perspectives from the book most inspired and/or motivated you? Your taking time to encourage young people how to try to make a better life for themselves - getting a good education, avoiding the trouble and wrong directions.
3. Has the book helped to foster any new priorities or behaviors - or perhaps rekindled any dreams or aspirations dormant from days gone by? Naturally.
